Changbai Computer Group Company (as "Changbai Group") is a large scale enterprise engaged in information industry and one of the 500 key enterprises in China. In 2000, Changbai Group listed 38th of the one hundred key enterprises in national electronic information industry. It is one of the 60 key enterprises supported by the Liaoning province and it is also the key enterprise of Shenyang city. Changbai trademark is evaluated RMB 116 million in 2001. 
Changbai Group has 5,900 employees, over one quarter are technicians. Its total asset is 2.48 billion. It covers an area of 400,000 square meters. 
By means of reorganization and system transform recent years, Changbai Group now consist of various system including nationalization system, shareholding system and joint venture system, combine scientific research, manufacture and trade together and formed a large scale enterprise. Most of its joint ventures are developing very well and they are getting better economic performance now. The joint ventures as follows: LG Electronics (Shengyang) Inc., which be jointed with Korean LG Company, Shengyang Tianxing Out Equipment Co. Ltd (with Hongkong Deason Group), Shenzhen Changzhong Computer Co. Ltd (with Hongkong Joytex Ltd.), Wearnes Shengyang Electronics Ltd (with Singapore wearnes Co. Ltd) and Shenyang Copeland Refrigeration Co. Ltd (Amerson Co. Ltd of the U.S.A). In July 2001, Changbai Computer Co. Ltd as one of the key enterprise holding by Changbai Group listed on the stars system in stock market in China. Its stock price rose up 20 , and will go on.
The main products including microcomputer, industrial control machine, computer peripheral, financial electronic equipment, electronic application product, system integration, software, large screen color TV, refrigeration equipment and electronic element etc. By present, the main product have shown great advantage in domestic market: the output of pin printers is placed first in our country; color TV output the 6th; and its export volume rank the top of the nation; microcomputer before ten. Some products are also well known through our country, such as industrial control machine, range of refrigeration equipment, Bing Mayong Museum protective device of Xian, Beilin protective system, taxation system in Hebei and geography information system of the three cities of Zhejiang province. 
Since 1990s, Changbai Group has finished science and technology achievements appraisal over 130, gained rewards over 80. The group has four Practical patents. Two enterprises of the group passed ISO9001 certification, nine enterprises passed ISO9002 certification.
Being supported by the Nation, provincial and municipal government, Changbai Group has made a great progress these years. By the end of 2000, gross value of industrial output increase 7.05 as much as that of the early 1990s, sales income, total profits and taxes increase 3 and 1.46 as much as that of the early 1990s. By 2000, gross value of industrial output is 6.2 billon yuan, sales income 2.6 billion yuan, total profit 13 million and export US$ 0.12 billion.
